The 2011-12 school year promises excitement and success!  We will look to build on an extraordinary performance by our students on the ISAT tests – the kids performed above the 90^th percentile in all categories for the first time!  This could not have happened without the support of our Oak Grove parents!  **Please check out our 2011 Oak Grove District Report Card by clicking on the "District Information" link above.

Perhaps you noticed the changes that took place at our schools this past summer.  Last year, we had the state required 10-year Health/Life Safety inspection, and our architects discovered a great deal of work that needed to be done in order to get our buildings safe for our children and staff.  This year’s work included:  Roof replacements at East & West; Re-paving drives at East & West; Exterior doors at East & West; electrical work; HVAC work; and plumbing work.  These changes were greatly needed, and will help as we strive to create a positive learning climate in all areas, including attitude and appearance.  Additionally, all classrooms are equipped with SMART Board technologies that will help teachers deliver educational content to our 21^st century learners.
